Pilates Matwork

Pilates New Start One to One - Induction for all new clients before joining a class.  This is a one to one session to learn more about the individual and assess their posture, movement patterns and other issues.  During this time, they will learn basic principles and exercises to give more confidence in the first few classes.  This can be combined with 4 New Start classes at a discounted price. (see below).

All classes are mixed level so are taught with exercise options from beginner to more challenging. Class exercise routines change about every two months and each class has a particular focus within the routine. 

Mobility Pilates (Monday 10:30) – Mobilising the body, strengthening the core muscles and restoring bio-mechanical integrity to movement patterns.

Flexibility Pilates (Monday 18:30) – Developing the core muscles whilst lengthening and strengthening the body.

Stability Pilates (Tuesday 18:30) – Using the strengthened core to stabilise the body with held positions and balance challenges.

Ladies Pilates (Wednesday 10:30) - Ladies only working on core strength, mobility, stability and flexibility.

Core Pilates (Wednesday 18:30) - Traditional core exercises that can be very challenging.

 

Pilates One to One - Private 40 minute session to review health & fitness goals in addition to a postural assessment. A bespoke exercise plan is developed and progressed to achieve individual goals. Ideal for those that would like more in-depth training and/or with medical clearance: to continue rehabilitation from injury or surgery, address a chronic issue, or pain management and/or relief.

Pilates Duet - Ideal for a couple, two friends or family members to exercise together at a time and day that suits them.  Especially good for addressing orthopaedic and bio-mechanical issues. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Pilates Private Class - Ideal for 3 - 5 friends or family to exercise together at a time and day that suits the group. Ballet Barre

Classical Ballet for Adults (Tuesday 12:30 or 19:30) – Ballet exercises and stretches to traditional ballet class music. Suitable for all skill levels. The goal is to improve posture, strength, coordination and agility rather than train dancers. Ballet work will be mostly at the barre with some time in the centre to test skills and balance.

Prices for 2024

New Start Pilates:  1:1 session for £32 & 4 classes for £28 (total £60)

New Start Ballet:  £35 for first 4 classes only OR same as above with 1:1 & 4 classes

10 Class Package:  £96 to book any available class on the Timetable

5 Class Package:  £50 to book any available class on the Timetable

Private 1:1, Duet and Class: £29 - £50 with package booking discounts

Annual Memberships (paid monthly) for classes and private sessions.
