Experience the personalized approach to fitness and wellness at our boutique studio. Join us for private sessions or small classes designed to focus on your individual needs. We offer Pilates or Ballet Barre classes. Before joining a Pilates class, please book an ‘Intro to Pilates’ one to one session.  This will give you a basic understanding of the Pilates principles and exercises.  It also includes a postural assessment to help you understand your own body so you can get the most out of your classes.

LC Pilates Studio was founded in 2017 by Lisa Carswell who has over 30 years of experience practicing Pilates and 10 years of teaching. Lisa is a classically trained ballet dancer so also teaches Adult Ballet classes.  Both disciplines inform her understanding of how the body moves and has developed her keen eye for proper body mechanics.  Lisa is able to teach clients new patterns of movement to help maintain fitness, alleviate/manage pain or recover from injury or surgery.  She specialises in correcting structural imbalances causing pain and dysfunction in the body that are commonly known as: lower back pain, sore feet and/or knees, poor posture, general stiffness as well as conditions: arthritis, osteoporosis, hip/knee replacement, shoulder problems, sciatica, and hyper-mobility.
